Thirty years ago, when wargaming was in Italy an abstract concept, a small group of Florentines gave life to the AFBIS in a little tight room with a single table and few chairs. It was the first Italian Wargaming club.
We are now one of the biggest club in Italy, with a large comfortable room, six wargaming tables and the most extensive private library on military warfare of Italy.
We are part of AGORA’ 4, an associations of clubs with the patronage of QUARTIERE 4 (municipality of Florence).

Our aim is to promote the study of history and military development in the past and in the modern age, figurines painting, and wargaming.

Our program includes workshops and seminars for the students, tournaments organisation and exhibitions.
